We are led by a body of men who fit the Biblical qualifications for elders. They are responsible for overseeing the direction of the church, shepherding the flock and ministering to the spiritual needs of the congregation.

We are an independent church that holds to the practices of the New Testament church. The church is not led by or beholden to any outside organization or denominational body.

Our ministerial staff is selected and hired by our local congregation.

1 Timothy 5:17-19
17 Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching. 18 For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle the ox while he is threshing," and "The laborer is worthy of his wages." NASB

1 Peter 5:1-4
5:1 Therefore, I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed, 2 shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; 3 nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory NASB

Ephesians 4:10-13
10 He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things. 11 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. NASB

Joel Chamness went home to be with the lord on Good Friday, 2017.  We mourn our loss in his absence, but praise the gain of Joel's hope in Jesus Christ
